Conversion Focused Shopify Redesign

The brief

Entropy Survival, a brand specialising in premium survival gear and preparedness equipment, wanted a website refresh that reflected their sense of resilience and readiness while boosting conversion performance. Their previous site faced several challenges: it was difficult for customers to navigate the extensive product catalog, product pages didn’t clearly convey the value of high-ticket survival kits, and the overall design didn’t fully capture Entropy Survival’s mission of preparedness and resilience. These gaps made it harder for shoppers to connect with the brand and feel confident making higher-value purchases.

The goal was to create a bold, conversion-focused Shopify store that addressed these challenges, communicated the brand story effectively, and guided users smoothly from discovery to purchase. High-ticket kits needed rich, educational pages to build trust and justify the investment, while lower-priced products required a streamlined experience that made browsing and buying fast and effortless.

The approach

At 8th Dial, we rebuilt the site on a Shopify theme foundation, enhancing it with apps and custom code to deliver a high-performing eCommerce experience. A key focus was designing two distinct product page structures tailored to different price points.
For Entropy’s premium survival kits, we created in-depth pages to educate customers and inspire confidence. These included product dimensions, practical use tips, FAQs, featured customer testimonials, and an interactive image hotspot showcasing every kit component. We also integrated a review app for social proof and incorporated engaging video content and interactive elements to make the site feel modern and immersive while clearly telling the brand story.
For lower-ticket items, we implemented a streamlined layout, keeping product details concise and allowing customers to move quickly from browsing to purchase. Upsell and cross-sell opportunities, countdown timers, and a quick checkout helped reduce friction while maintaining a design that reflects reliability, preparedness, and premium quality.

The results

The new Shopify experience gives Entropy Survival a stronger digital foundation for both brand storytelling and conversion growth. Customers can now navigate the catalogue more easily, understand product value faster, and move through the buying journey with less friction.

With tailored product page experiences for premium kits and lower-ticket essentials, the site now builds trust where education is needed while streamlining faster purchases.
